Hi! I'm a self-driven entrepreneur, innovative full-stack developer, and leader. I have an extensive portfolio of personal projects using a wide array of technical stacks, as well as experience leading teams. My current interests are entrepreneurship, business administration, machine learning, application development, as well as the world of fintech, specifically open banking. I've always had a constant desire to learn new technologies, and over the years, I have strived to gain as much industry knowledge that relates to my interests as I can. ATB Financial
Software Development InternATB Financial is a financial institution and Crown corporation wholly owned by the Province of Alberta. ATB Financial provides financial services to over 770,000 Alberta residents and businesses with $51.9 billion in assets.
Working full-stack on the internal admin/employee dashboard for banking products, using React, MobX, Typescript, and GitLab for the frontend, and Java Spring Boot and Google Cloud Platform on the backend.
Migrated legacy admin/employee dashboard to a heavily improved user interface and released the internal app to over 300 Banking Team members.
Implemented frontend end-to-end integration (account and product creation) automating banking manual processes to save employees ~25 minutes per application.

Software Engineering Intern (MLH Fellow)The MLH Fellowship is a 12 week internship alternative for aspiring software engineers. Instead of interning at a single company, on the Open Source Track you'll contribute to the type of Open Source projects that every company depends on.
One of under 200 developers selected out of an application pool of ~10,000 people to contribute to React Native
Planned, engineered, and documented a git workflow for tutorials using Husky, and built an internal cli using node.js. Set up a mobile app infrastructure using React Navigation, Jest, and the React Native Testing Library
UBC UAS Engineering Design Team
Software DeveloperThe University of British Columbia Unmanned Aircraft Systems engineering student team (UBC UAS) is a multidisciplinary group of students spanning multiple faculties, including Engineering, Forestry, Science and Business, and competes in competitions revolving around drones.
Tasked with implementing elements of the ground control software suite for our team's unmanned aircrafts.
Wrote a REST api for the onboard flight software responsible for communicating with the aircraft, such as obtaining telemetry data or rerouting the aircraft's path for the intent of obstacle avoidance. Gained value experience working with other developers on a project.
Bitbox Design
FounderBitbox Design is a digital agency offering a wide variety of services ranging from digital marketing, website development and brand identity.
Currently managing all aspects of the agency: client acquisition, sales, marketing, and developing PHP Wordpress sites for businesses. Also in charge of marketing strategy for clients.

The UBC Realtime Courses API was developed in the hopes of making course data easily available to all developers. Any data imaginable (Vancouver or Okanagan Campus) on the ssc courses site - this api has it all. And the most important part of it all? This API can retrieve data in REAL-TIME. Woah.

GitLove - 2nd Overall
An Progressive Web App that spices up the way programmers date and meet online. It matches users that swipe right on each other and forces them to communicate with a catch: by running custom created Scheme (a functional programming language) code to be displayed/played on the other end.
It's basically as if Snapchat and Tinder had a baby. Submitted to MLH Summer hackathon. Second Overall out of 222 participants.
OwlPlanr - Day Planner for Indecisive Friend Groups
Can’t agree on something to do for the day, or don't know what to do on your vacation? PlanR is a web app that creates an itinerary that automatically generates a full day-plan for the group tailored to everyone's interests!
All you have to do is check off the activities you'd like to do, and the types of food they want to eat, and when everyone is done, a fully laid out day is planned for the group consisting of places to eat, and things to do.

Real Time 3d Body Pose Tracking & analytics for physiotherapy using a machine learning model directly implemented into the browser, which is first analyzed within the app, and then provided to a physiotherapist who can further analyze the data.
The goal is to make physiotherapy accessible in the home :-)

Online Tetris Multiplayer
A full-fledged real-time multiplayer tetris game written in javascript using node.js and socket.io, fully implemented with all standard competitive Tetris rules. Fully programmed from scratch from graphics to game logic!
Stockgame.ca
A full-blown stock and cryptocurrency market simulator. Currently has 200+ users with over 2000+ transactions. Supports many features such as loans, buying, selling, rankings, and transaction history. Made mainly with PHP and MySQL as the database.
